Jonathan Witte

Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree at Grove City College, I am simultaneously building my skill set in areas such as business, missionary work, and refining my technical skills. More information about my previous endeavors can be found below.

Experience

BMPI Captone Project

This is the most recent project I am a part of in my current senior year at Grove City College. Our goal this year will be to design a robot capable of inspecting and retrieving foreign materials from hard-to-reach areas within a piping system. Given a general set of requirements and stretch goals, our team will have the opportunity to think past conventional robot designs in order to successfully complete the task set by BPMI.

Allen and Shariff

Working in the MEP engineering field equips me with the necessary client relation, problem solving, and task management skills widely applicable for every industry. Through my internship at Allen and Shariff, I continue to hone my engineering toolbox to better optimize building system designs and better serve the clients we work with.

Engineers With a Mission

As the President of EWM at Grove City College, I work closely with leadership of local communities and pair our resources with the support of established businesses. Involved in this years structural design team, I aid in managing cross team communication while also working to optimize and construct the existing design proposals.

OBJ Prints

Additive manufacturing has always sparked an interest in me as an engineer from a young age. Started during my high school career, OBJ Prints immediately extended my ability to work with people, using my skills and talents to help others realize their ideas.

It's Banana Bread LLC

As an extension of my prior business skills, I decided to branch into the food industry applying my experience to building a college community focused business. IBB not only opened doors to build community, but it also allowed me to reach beyond my comfort zone and into new challenges and growth opportunities
